Its
ancient Roman name is Emonia, and today it has o population of 4,000 inhabitants.
Novigrad is a perfect destination for guests who want to spend their holiday
in a more private and special atmosphere.
This small town is situated on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula between
Umag and Porec. It is a pleasant fishermen’s town, an ideal summer resort
for the entire family.
Here you can enjoy lying or walking on the gentle beaches with beautiful small
bays and a crystal clear sea, or you can do different kinds of sports in well-equipped
courts and facilities, enjoy the local cuisine and good wine, and have fun in
a number of bars...
All that in a pleasant atmosphere and with hospitable hosts.

temperatures range between 22 and 24°C, and winters are mild and with no
snow; luxuriant vegetation is almost without equal in the whole Adriatic.
The sea temperatures ensure agreeable swimming from May to the end of September,
beaches are pebbled or rocky, and woods and groves of Mediterranean trees provide
a cosy shade for even more enjoyment and comfort.
Every new day in Novigrad offers a new challenge to seize the day and take in
the warmth of the sun, to refresh the body with healthy and delicious food,
and to know the history of the town and the entire area, the history which has
been written in the European handwriting which everyone can read.
